Every month here at Vale Foodbank, a lot goes on. On average we feed over 400 people in crisis in the county of the Vale of Glamorgan with emergency food parcels. We do this with the help of over 100 volunteers and staff, at 8 distribution centres and our centralised warehouse. And the food we give is generously donated by you.

But believe it or not, that is just the tip of the iceberg, in terms of what we do from day to day.

We are also working on countless projects to try and reduce the number of people in crisis in the Vale of Glamorgan. We are working towards a time when foodbanks will no longer be needed. This includes participation work where we listen to people with lived experience telling us where help is needed. Cookery workshops, craft workshops, a community garden, fundraising, lobbying government at a local and national level, campaigning, organising and so much more.
