Obviously we are very grateful for all your generous donations, but every month we like to pick out one or two for a bit of special recognition. This month we say a special thank you to…

The students raised £300 through bake sale at the school and used the money to purchase items for the foodbank.

They researched, compiled shopping lists and went to complete the shop themselves at Tesco Barry.

They collected a huge 155.9kgs of food

Community Cooking Group

One of the outputs from our participation programme, is group who wanted to share their knowledge of good kitchen craft. Their objective was to help foodbank users learn to make the most of the food in a food parcel as well as how to create healthy, tasty meals on a budget. In January their group was really well attended.
