About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
The Vale Foodbank opened in September 2011, with one Foodbank centre in Barry. Since then we have expanded throughout the Vale of Glamorgan so that we now have 6 centres to distribute emergency food parcels into the community. Our Foodbank is a project founded by local churches, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. The Foodbank relies on donations of food from individuals, churches, schools and other organisations.
